So we love to camp. (I use the word "love" loosely, because everyone else in our family "loves" to camp, I personally just tolerate it) However, since moving away from the beauty of the Uintas, we have not camped, not even once. (How do you camp with no mountains?) Anyway, for lack of better options, Steve and Jenna had a little campout in the backyard before the baby was born. Jenna loved it and Steve promised her that they would do one more campout before summer was over. Remember, she's almost 4, so almost every day she would ask him if they could have a campout. Well, this last weekend she finally wore him down and with the weather getting colder, Daddy kept his promise. Seriously, my husband is a saint. Not only did he take Jenna, but he decided that Bryson could join them. I am positive that I got more sleep that night and I was inside with a hungry newborn.
I love my husband and his efforts to instill a love for the "Great Outdoors" in our children. (Although, I am pretty sure they were genetically predisposed to loving it.)
Just a little tidbit about the red hats. Jenna is a funny child. She insisted that they all wear their red hats and they had to wear them backwards. Don't know why, just cuz.

Settin' up camp. Dad had LOTS of help. Jenna's "magic wands"
Here's the cheesiest kid on the planet!!
Does this freak me out? Of course, but they love every second!
Your hubby is totally a saint. But any good dad would have done it. I love the red hats, too. How funny that she insisted.
