First stop - Chef Mickey's! Okay, the character meals- grossly overpriced, but seriously worth every cent. It was a perfect way to start our Disney experience, the kids absolutely LOVED it and they got to dance with and hug all of the characters. It was also comforting to know that we didn't have to run around the park chasing the characters down. Our breakfast reservation wasn't until 10:50 so it was more of brunch, but it worked out great because we woke up late and nearly missed our reservation time. (I have to thank good ol' Walt for the monorail!)
Sweet Pea was SO excited to see Minnie
B-Man was a little "cautious" about the characters at first, but it didn't take him long to warm up.
Muffin was down right freaked out by the "real" characters, but as long as I was holding her she did pretty well.
My Goofy family!
Goofy was a little more than obsessed with the budda - he even came around a second time to get a another good luck rub
Not much eating got accomplished, I am speaking for the kids of course - I ate until it hurt, but it was so fun to see them so excited anticipating the next character to come to our table.
To avoid overload, I posted the highlights - to see more pics from Chef Mickey's click here.
Just as a side note to anyone planning a Disney trip in the near future. I have two words for you ZIPLOC BAGS! I totally got my moneys worth out of this buffet. I had food and fruit to eat for the rest of the day :o)
Next stop...the Magic Kingdom - Day 1 to be continued...
I guess I have to check your blog when the kids aren't in the room because they are now begging me non stop to go to Disney World. Looks like you guys had a fun brunch. I love that fact that Goofy came back to rub your tummy!
