As I mentioned, I took my weekend trip to Utah to be there for Ash & Jer's sealing. It was amazing! The cute old sealer made the comment that they both just radiated with the spirit and he could tell that they were a very special couple...and they are!
I could give you a cheesy Mastercard priceless version, but that's been way overused, but I will forever have ingrained in my memory the look on Ashley's face when she realized that I was there. I actually have to give credit, once again, to Mr. Incredible. When he first gave me the Itinerary for the flight my first instinct was to pick up the phone to call Ashley, but he said what would be really cool is to just surprise. So with her sister, Misty and her Mom, Diann as my partners in crime, I was able to surprise her.
I started crying from the moment Ash & Jer walked in, but there wasn't a dry eye in the room after they brought in those two beautiful children to be sealed to their parents. There are no words to describe how blessed I feel have been able to be there and feel the spirit so strongly.
I don't think I have lent any spiritual inspiration or thoughts since the inception of this blog, but really, there are no words... the spirit was so strong in that room it was tangible, like I am tearing up right now just thinking about it. For me, it was one of those moments when it helps me to remember who I am and what we are here upon this earth to do. I am a child of God and I am here to learn my way back to Him with those who I love the most. The rest... is just fluff. You add to that the amazing fast and testimony meeting at the Woodland Ward on Sunday and I was on a total spiritual high. It is exactly what I needed to come back home to be better for my family.
It was also so great to meet Ash's friends and neighbors from her Ward. I seriously want to move back to their neighborhood. I would have get a lot cuter by then, but hey I am willing to make the effort if it means having such cute, fun friends. Just great families who are such an awesome support system.
So, my trip was fabulous but I am really bummed that I didn't get the camera out much. I will have to swipe some pictures from my mom because she took a lot of really great pictures, but here are the one's that I got of Ash and her cute family. I never was able to wrestle the kids to get a picture of the family together, but hey I did what I could.
