Mom's Day Marathon

No, I did not run an actual marathon like Jessica, I don't have the motivation to do cool things like that. For me Mother's Day just ended this last weekend. So it was literally a month long event. My Hubby, who is now officially dubbed Mr. Incredible, went above and beyond this Mum's Day. Honestly, he has really set the standard for years to come... there's no going back. On the flip side of that, after you read this post I am wide open to any Father's Day ideas that you have.

Aneeway, the Friday morning before M-Day the kids slept in, translation...my three alarm clocks hit the snooze, so we were all running late. Steve got up and started getting ready for work, and I went into panic mode and asked if he could pleeeeease stay long enough so that I could at least get in the shower. I jump in and out, and hurry downstairs so that he could leave for work, but alas, he was getting the kids breaky and he was fixing some for me. What? A day off!? What's that?! To all of those Mom's out there, whether you work or stay home, it's a big deal! He gave me some gift cards for shopping and a list for instructions. He had set up a hair appointment with my girl, but being the spoiler that I am I had gone earlier in the week. Now, not only did he do all of this, but he collaborated with some of my friends hubby's so that we could go shopping together.

The whole weekend Mr. Incredible took over kid duty and on Sunday he along with my bestie's boys took care of dinner, G-Ray made some awesome ribs, so I milked the Madre Day card pretty much all weekend. And no my friend, that's not the end...

That brings me to the best surprise... EVER!!! He told me that because of all of the "re-structuring" at work that he was no longer going to the Philippines in June. He could have stopped there because I was elated, I hate those 10 days without him, but no, he also booked a plane ticket to Utah for me. You see, I was devastated (I mean really devastated) when he told me he was going to be in the Philippines the same weekend that BFF Ashley and her hubby Jeremy were going to be sealed. I was desperately trying to come up ways that I could beg (or bribe) my friends to take my children for the weekend, but I couldn't bring myself to ask such a huge favor. Sooo, the ticket was for me to be there when Ash and her cute family were going to be sealed. I know... he's amazing and I luff him very much.

So, my Mommy's Day was awesome and I am sorry for the late post about it but I surprised Ash so I couldn't post this before I got back, but that's a post all of it's own, so stay tuned ;o)
How cute his He?
Itinerary! YAY!

Just the girls! We forgot to get a picture before church and Bryson was asleep when we took this after church.
