Adoration...

On day 2 of Eli's life he got to meet the three people who he will be causing a lot of trouble with in the years to come. I wasn't really worried about Sweet Pea and B-Man, they are older and obviously understood more of what was going on with having a new baby in our family. Now Muffin, that's a different story. She was going to be dethroned. I was really worried. Her understanding of Mom's Big Budda was that it was in the way when we were reading books and it was fun to push in the torpedo belly button. My prayers were answered when she immediately started to love and adore her little brother. They all adored him, and how grateful I am for that. In fact, Muffin didn't want anyone else to hold him, which can present a problem when there are two others who also want to love him to pieces.

Meeting Sweet Pea - She was so excited and had been talking about baby brother for days asking when (and how...yikes!) baby brother was going to come. She is such a great kid and is always asking what she can do to help.

No longer outnumbered! I have never seen a kid so excited to have a brother. Before I got pregnant with Little Bean, Mr. Incredible's mantra was always "every boy needs a brother" and I must say that I agree. I guess Heavenly Father knows what we need to make it in this life and he knew that B-Man needed a brother.

I am a little scared about the things that this little girl is going to teach her little brother! I was really worried about My Muffin and how she was going to take to our little man, but she was awesome.

This picture makes me want to cry every time I look at it. LOVE IT!

Papa & Grandma B with the Little Bean. How grateful I am that they were able to be home with us for a whole week. I don't know what I would have done without them! They took kids to school, speech, dance (which was not a pleasant experience for Grandma B because they got VERY lost), cooked, cleaned and kept the kids busy. THANK YOU MOM & DAD! We love you and miss you :o)

Aunt Linny was also here for a a few days and again, don't know what we would have done without her! She went from single white female to mother of 3 and she did awesome. (She even gave them all baths, that something I don't even do -totally Mr Incredible's department)  She stayed with all of the kids while Mom & Dad came to the hospital. It was fabulous because we didn't have to farm them out to other people and the kids got to sleep in their own beds. I was especially grateful for the special bond her and Muffin formed. They are two peas in a pod - feisty,sassy and beautiful all rolled into one. Thanks Linny for helping us so much.

This is one of my favorites because it is just a glimpse into the chaos. Dude...you have FOUR kids!

  1. TINA! You have four kids! He is beautiful! I can't believe he is here! Sad that we aren't one of the few early ones that get to know him :( I miss you and think of you lots! I am also so happy that Sara loves him. Love you.

  2. he is a beautiful boy and a perfect addition to your family!
hopefully the adjustment period continues to go well, it's amazing how the younger ones are better able to handle all the "love" they receive. they already know what they're in for and just take things in stride..lots of love to you guys Ü

  4. Love the pics -- Grandma Patsy is grateful for modern technology that spans the miles, but still not as good as being there. . .

    Love to all,

  5. A note from Joseph-

Congratulations! He's a cute kid. I'm jealous that he's got three times more hair than I do.
