Lots and Lots of Gingerbread

One of my most FAVORITE traditions as a Goates Kid is Gingerbread houses. Since we've moved it's been one of the hardest things to miss out on, especially as the kids get older. (But who am I kidding, I am the one who loves it.) So I was so excited that we were able to join in on the fun this year. I was also very excited that my Mom, my niece CheyAnne and my nephew Cristian were able to come experience Gingerbread houses at the Ranch. Cristian was so cute, he said to me "This is the funnest day EVER!"

It's really hard to explain the amount of sugar that is involved with the experience, I am sure all of the sugar still has not filtered through Jenna because I am positive that she consumed more candy than she put on her house, which as you can see is a lot.

Grandma Patsy made 8x the recipe in order to make loads of gingerbread for all of the houses. (Yes, she is amazing to continue this tradition with her 29 grandchildren.) So with lots of gingerbread, frosting and holiday goodies, we were off to make our Gingerbread houses.
