Happy Birthday Bryson!

Our little man turned 2 yesterday. I can't beleive he is 2!! It seems just like yesterday that I was bringing his petite 8 lb frame into the world with no epidural, but enough about me.

Bryson is our "spirited" child as I think I have mentioned before. He has a ton of energy, but is so much fun. He has developed an awesome sense of humor, he just knows how to make us all laugh and I love it. Although all that energy can be challenging to contain at times, he has such a sensitive spirit. He gets so upset when another child crying or in trouble (especially his baby sister). It reminds me a lot of his Dad. Bryson brings such energy and fun to our family, I don't know what we would do without him.
We had a little get together last night for B-man, and he had so much fun. We had a dalmatian themed party because he LOVES dogs, and particularly the 101 Dalmatians.
It's hard living away from family when birthday's and holidays roll around, but it is awesome to have such a support of friends who I know love our little man as if he was part of their family. I seriously wanted to cry as we were singing him happy birthday because it's just like being at home, he was surrounded by those who love him. Thanks to my friends for loving us and being surrogate aunts, uncles & cousins for my children!

Blowing out the candles! It was a valiant effort, but in the end he needed an assist.

This is Bryson's one and only true love, Anika. Since the BBQ on the 4th of July he has been smitten each time we are with the MacLeod's.
