Happy Halloween!

So we had quite the action packed Halloween. We started a day early because Jenna had a Halloween party at school on Thursday, then we had a lot going on all day yesterday.

In the morning we had a party at Kim's house, which included frosting cookies, making pumpkin bats and of course lots of toys and friends. After naps we headed off for trick-or-treating and then over to the Clayton's for some chili and cornbread (yummy!).

Jenna insisted that I call her Cinderella and she named Bryson Lucky and was petting him and giving him commands all day, she cracks me up.

The weather was gorgeous and warm which I never thought I would ever say that about the weather here, especially on Halloween. All in all a really fun day, looking forward to my kids being on a sugar rush for the next few months!

Jenna loved to frost the cookies (not nearly as much as she loves eating the frosting!) and she was very proud of her bat she made.

We went trick-or-treating with Kim, Kaitlyn, & Kevin in the neighborhood just north of us. Bryson was a first timer (he just sat in the stroller last year) he was a little shy at first, but once he realized that he got a treat out of it, he got over it real quick.

Because we went earlier in the day there were a lot of people not home, this was pretty funny because they are anxiously waiting for someone to answer and no one was home.

There was definitely no question as to when Bryson was done with trick-or-treating.

  3. Sorry - I know I've commented on all of your posts -- but I can't resist! The kids look so darling in their costumes! I especially love the one of them anxiously waiting at the door for someone to open...

  4. So cute Tina! Jenna makes a perfect princess.

I hate it when Chris has to go out of town, too. It never gets any easier for me. I sometimes still make my mom come stay with me. I'm such a baby!
